re your dissertation

I'm not saying that there's anything wrong with your dissertation, but as a rule we do not accept those as sources until there are references in other works establishing their reliability. Mangoe (talk) 19:25, 18 July 2013 (UTC)

Thanks much for the information. But what do you mean by reliable? It was approved by my dissertation committee at Columbia, and listed on the Academic Commons there. It's a work of history, not partisanship. Kevincmurphy (talk) 19:34, 18 July 2013
