when parts of the system get closed down
[edit]it is not time to remove content from wikipedia - there are practical points to keep record of what was what and when they got closed down. As a former employee/worker at Fisher Library I can remember things about the place and the way the University worked with its allocations for libraries, a very long time ago. I have since returned to the library a few times and understand the changes.
Please get a very clear handle on WP:NOT and WP:ABOUT - basically if something gets closed it is not a point where the content gets removed. Wikipedia is not a website to update and look tidy - if something existed and has since been closed, that is not a point where content and refs get removed. There's a lot more I could throw in here, but that's enough for the moment. If by chance you read this before have a safe christmas and new year. Otherwise, please do not hesitate to ask about things with context about things closed down or lost. JarrahTree 04:08, 24 December 2020 (UTC)
- sheesh - there needs to be something like wP:RS somewhere otherwise someone can come and cleanout your eds as wp:OR just because something happened doesnt mean it can be explained in a vacuum - itdesperately needs sources of some sort... JarrahTree 07:52, 20 February 2021 (UTC)
