Your GA nomination of Konstantin Kulikov
[edit]The article Konstantin Kulikov you nominated as a good article has passed ; see Talk:Konstantin Kulikov for comments about the article, and Talk:Konstantin Kulikov/GA1 for the nomination. Well done! If the article has never appeared on the Main Page as a "Did you know" item, and has not appeared within the last year either as "Today's featured article", or as a bold link under "In the news" or in the "On this day" prose section, you can nominate it within the next seven days to appear at DYK. Bolded names with dates listed at the bottom of the "On this day" column do not affect DYK eligibility. Soviet DDs
[edit]Thanks for adding the info from Balakin to Sokrushitelny. I'd be happy to add you as a nominator, if you like, since you added so much stuff. Do you have any interest on working on the rest of the Soviet ships like we were doing earlier? Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 16:37, 22 November 2023 (UTC)
- Yes. It would be a lot easier now since I began seriously learning Russian, so I don't need to spend time running text through OCR. --Kges1901 (talk) 18:49, 22 November 2023 (UTC)
- Excellent! I'm glad to hear that you're learning Russian; I tried years ago and could not wrap my head around it. I'll start by updating the articles with stuff from English-language sources and Platonov and you can finish them with the other Russian-language sources. The pace will probably be pretty slow as I have a lot less free time than before.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 15:40, 23 November 2023 (UTC)
- Sokrushitely is finally being reviewed and the reviewer has a question about the survivors. What happened to the skeleton crew when the DD sank? Balakin says that the two lieutenants in the skleleton crew survived and were rewarded with commands, were they rescued after the ships sank?--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 15:53, 29 November 2023 (UTC)
