(Every fact appearing that is not common knowledge must be supported by citation, this technological advance must be established based on reviews and book chapters written by professors other than the one with which you collaborate, and the primary source-claims, regarding "first-to-propose," -develop, etc. must be based on the descriptions of others, not self-serving claims made in patents and primary research reports.)

I have suggested to the reviewer that they present you with an example of a good article. Meanwhile, I would recommend you WITHDRAW the article, and resubmit a single paragraph, each sentence sourced from secondary sources (reviews, textbooks, review chapters, no patents or primary sources). Explain the technology, its origin in other established technology, and find persons other that the Professor claiming first-to-discover that state he was first to discover.

Bottom line, business are not allowed to promote their discoveries or products on WP, nor are professors allowed to self-promote here. This is an encyclopedia, presenting the preponderance of scientific and other academic opinions—and not an extension of professorial or business web pages.
