September 2021[edit]
Hello, I'm Longhair. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to User:KnoelHonn have been undone because they appeared to be promotional. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted; Wikipedia articles should be written objectively, using independent sources, and from a neutral perspective. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. Longhair\talk 23:34, 6 September 2021 (UTC)
Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to The Call (band). While objective prose about beliefs, organisations, people, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Thank you. Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to add promotional or advertising material to Wikipedia, as you did at Draft:Recalling The Call, you may be blocked from editing. Longhair\talk 00:07, 7 September 2021 (UTC)

Managing a conflict of interest[edit]
Hello, KnoelHonn. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Draft:Recalling The Call, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
- disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam#External link spamming);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.
Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Longhair\talk 00:07, 7 September 2021 (UTC)
- I am the official band historian and was correcting incorrect information and adding updates which were all accurate at the bands request. Why would you put back incorrect information and incomplete information is beyond me. Please put it back. Frankie The Dillo (talk) 01:06, 7 September 2021 (UTC)
- Actually, you're a newly created account pretending to be someone entirely independent, but in fact, you're a sockpuppet. I've been around here long enough to know. -- Longhair\talk 01:13, 7 September 2021 (UTC)
