Sinaiticus, Vaticanus, Alexandrinus[edit]

WP:ECHO[edit]

I'm curious, what is the purpose in tagging an article like Homer Simpson with the WP:ECHO banner? That article is already a FA. In fact, the other FA cited by the banner is from the Spanish wiki, and its largely based on the English wiki version. So how could the article be improved "by drawing content, media or references from" an article derived from it? -- Scorpion0422 22:49, 10 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, please don't tag every article with FAOL just because it is FA in another language!! This is what the little star in the language column of the article page itself is for. The FAOL banner is only for articles that could actually benefit from translation, and even then is not a useful template really, because the FAOL wikiproject is dead. Please use {{Expand Spanish}} and so forth, which actually provide instructions and useful tools for translation. I've spent a lot of time removing FAOL banners that were not appropriately placed - please don't undo my hard work!!! Calliopejen1 (talk) 23:09, 2 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for December 15[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Janusz Sanocki, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Nysa. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
