Welcome!

Hello, Konstantino, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Again, welcome!

On a more serious note, please don't ever upload an image taken from a website as {{NoRightsReserved}} again. I've removed and deleted the two images you added to MacBook. Apple's promotional images are restricted, in fact very much so. They would've been acceptable if tagged with {{promotional}} AND {{fairusereplace}} AND a good rationale why this is in fact fair use (it wouldn't be anyway, since we have a free replacement), so please do that if you plan on uploading more commercial images. Don't let that discourage you, everyone makes these errors, but learn from them. Anyway, happy editing, -- grm_wnr Esc 20:25, 16 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Replaceable fair use Image:Pixen Mario.png[edit]

Replaceable fair use
Replaceable fair use

Thanks for uploading Image:Pixen Mario.png. I noticed the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the image description page and edit it to add {{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or a similar) image under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, fair use images which could be replaced by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if not used in an article), per our Fair Use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Liftarn 10:19, 24 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry[edit]

Request for usurpation[edit]

Hello, Konstantino. A request has been made at Wikipedia:Changing username/Usurpations to usurp, or "take over", your username because another user would like to use it to edit. The changing username guideline allows a username that is not being actively used to be usurped if the user is given an opportunity to object and does not do so.

If you have an email set in your preferences, you should be getting an email from a bureaucrat or changing username clerk explaining how to consent or object to this process.

If you do not object to being renamed to a new username in order for another user to use the name you currently have, please log in and post a reply here saying so (you may also tell us what username you would like to be renamed to, or we will provide you with a generic one).

If you do nothing: the request may be filled shortly, and your account will be moved to a generic username. You may request that it be moved to a new username of your choice at any time.

If you object to being renamed: please log in and make an edit to this page clearly stating that you object to usurpation. Any objection on your part will prevent usurpation.

Please note that even if your current username is usurped, you can still edit and your data will not be lost; your preferences, watchlist, and other user settings will be transferred to a new username.

Thank you for your time.

I hope you don't mind. It seems like your time at Wikipedia has been over for awhile now. Konstantinos is my real name, you see, hence why I really want the name. I understand that this is insulting, so if you'd like to keep your name or take it back when you come back, I'd be more than willing to give it back. Thank you. I understand your request, but Konstantino (without the 's') is my real name, which is why I have the username in the first place.Tino (talk) 18:55, 11 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
