[edit]You should also read our conflict of interest guideline and be aware that promotional editing is not acceptable regardless of the username you choose. Additionally, if your contributions to Wikipedia form all or part of work for which you are, or expect to be, paid, you must disclose who is paying you to edit.
Please also note that you are permitted to use a username that contains the name of a company or organization if it identifies you individually, such as "Sara Smith at XYZ Company", "Mark at WidgetsUSA", or "FoobarFan87".
If your username does not represent a group, organization or website, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}

Comment: A further look into Kora Research lists Bayer Mack, the director of the film article you're editing, as the registered agent / director of Kora [1] [2]. You have a conflict of interest with the article you're editing and are asked not to edit the article directly should you be unblocked, but request edits to the article via the article talk page thanks. -- Longhair\talk 09:39, 27 August 2021 (UTC)
Sockpuppet investigation
[edit]An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Macklevine, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community.

Comment: I was contacted by the user Macklevine and I know Mr, Bayer Mack. I do not work for them, but I have volunteered to help Kora, which is why I used the name. We have engaged https://afrocrowd.org/ to look into the issues with pages associated with Mr. Mack, who is concerned about the lack of African-American editors on Wikipedia. I did not intend to mislead anyone, which is why I openly use the name. If you need to block the account I understand. Thank you.-- KoraResearch\talk 05:56, 27 August 2021 (UTC)
