Just saying hi.

Okay. I don't think I could make a Wikipedia page without taking the time to figure all that out, or have the patience to do all that. Anyways, I have to go. Later gator. Me. 71.79.223.181 11:21, 6 September 2007 (UTC)

Re: Talk bug

Apparently there is some software bug so that IP's don't always get the messages bar to alert them to messages - see Wikipedia:Administrator intervention against vandalism/Bug ID 9213.--Kubigula (talk) 22:07, 11 September 2007 (UTC)

Just a pointer so you can hone your fine vandal-fighting skills - you reverted vandalism back to the previous IP edit, which was also vandalism.[1] Tyrenius 05:14, 12 September 2007 (UTC)

I have no idea, I'm sorry. I've checked the approved user list and you are in it, and the list isn't corrupt. I really don't know what it's the situation with Vista, I'm sorry. I see you have filed a bug, let's wait for a dev to check it. Snowolf How can I help? 12:58, 25 September 2007 (UTC)

Anti-Vandalism

Thanks for helping in the fight against vandalism. Have you considered the benefits of registering an account on Wikipedia? Thanks again! —Signed by KoЯnfan71 My Talk Sign Here! 21:26, 27 September 2007 (UTC)

Yes, I have fully considered them. But have you considered the benefits of not logging in? :-
* Proper anonymity. Nobody knows or cares who you are. My IP address only identifies me as one of millions of BT customers.
* No forgotten passwords, no e-mail confirmation, none of the spam that inevitably follows e-mail confirmation, no losing your account when single user login comes in just because someone on the Urdu Wikipedia has an account with the same name.
* No userpage (yes, this is a benefit; no temptation to waste time designing pretty pages, userboxes, etc). Inability to customize signatures (along similar lines, also a benefit).
* No annoying RfA nomination offers, requests to join WikiProjects, spam about deletion discussions you're not interested in, and so on.
* No chance that you'll register your real name and later regret it due to harassment. Vastly lower chance of harassment in the first place.
* No autoblocks. If you're accidentally blocked, as productive anonymous contributors are liable to be, you just reconnect with another IP address, rather than having to waste time appealing block.
* Similarly, if you're falsely accused of sockpuppetry (happens now and then) you can forget all about the accusations the next day when your IP address changes and you never see the old one again.
* No editcountitis. Since your contributions are spread across hundreds of IPs that you can't remember, neither you nor anyone else can count them and run stupid scripts on them.
* It's a nice relief to everyone else to see an anonymous user doing something useful for once.
* You're not tempted to upload any images, thus you won't get piles of bot warnings and all your hard work undone by admins with scripts next time the image use policy is changed.
* Nobody assumes you're an administrator when you're not, and pelts you with requests to do stuff you can't do.
... and many more things, all without any substantial reduction in what you can and cannot do – and there are workarounds for almost everything you can't.

"If you don't do anything wrong, you won't have any problems.". Oh really? See the message immediately after yours – from an experienced user who reverted one of my edits, thereby adding vandalism back in to the page, and warned me. Multiply that by four and you've got a block from an administrator who glances at the warnings and ignores the edits. It's happened – 86.149.9.24 22:08, 27 September 2007 (UTC)

The Latest in KoRn news!!!!!!

Yesterday,(sep.29th) during the filming of a cameo appearance in the Korn video for the band's next single, "Hold On"; one of Korn's backing band members was sent to the hospital in critical condition after being gored by a charging bull that was meant as a stunt prop. In a statement by the band, Korn said, "We are in a state of shock over what happened. The bull was docile the entire day but when we played the audio for the lip-synch he just went crazy." The injured man is expected to make a full recovery despite the uncertain nature of his injuries and the identity of the band member will remain unknown until his family is notified of the accident. "Korn's "Bitch We've Got A Problem" tour will launch in Reno today as planned and the video for "Hold On" was completed despite the accident and is expected be on air on October 11. or their next single "Hold on" was completed despite the accident and is expected be on air on October 11. Thanks to my uncles stupid girlfriend "wishing it was Johnathon Davis and hoping he dies". Well cya at school tomorrow.(Jeff)The Grim Reaper123 20:44, 30 September 2007 (UTC)
