Information icon Please do not add commentary, your own point of view, or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Priyamaanavale. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Diff: [1] Nobody's interested in your personal evaluation of a film's critical or commercial success. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 15:54, 22 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Pointless edits

[edit]

Please don't make pointless edits like this if you don't know what you are doing. Somebody obviously thought it necessary to use a specific template, and your uneducated change doesn't match the normal way we use this parameter, since we typically include the name of the original work and the person who wrote it. See Template:Infobox film instructions, because if you consistently make problematic edits like these, even if you mean well, it will likely be considered disruptive in the long term. [edit]

Please stop your disruptive editing.

If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing. Diffs: [2][3][4][5] If you don't stop incorrectly propagating the |based_on= parameter of the film infobox, you are going to wind up blocked. That would be a shame, because I can see that many of your edits are constructive. Open Template:Infobox film and read the instructions. The |based_on= parameter should be used to indicate 1) a published work that the film was based on, and 2) the name of the writer of that original work. This is done by using the {{based on}} template Nowhere in the instructions does anyone ask that you remove properly used templates, and nowhere in the instructions does anyone ask you to indicate the language of the original work. Stop misusing this parameter and start using proper formatting. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 22:47, 13 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Per this and your other problematic changes, it seems pretty clear to me that you're a sock of disruptive user Vasan20. You are not welcome to edit at Wikipedia, and any change you make can be reverted by any editor without regard for whether it is helpful or not. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 22:53, 13 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
