Talk pages
[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, talk pages are meant to be a record of a discussion; deleting or editing legitimate comments, as you did at Wikipedia talk:Steve Clark, is considered bad practice, even if you meant well. Even making spelling and grammatical corrections in others' comments is generally frowned upon, as it tends to irritate the users whose comments you are correcting. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. --VeryCrocker (talk) 09:08, 11 February 2014 (UTC)
Replied Comments
[edit]Sorry, I like to keep my like my inbox mail clean. I enjoy everyone comments and preferred like to keep my inbox tidy than having to scroll through pages after pages of mail/old comments. I don't want to offend anyone, cause really do enjoy other comments. If there a way like my gmail to create and save into folders would be great! --Karen Williams 16:34, 11 February 2014 (UTC)

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, introducing inappropriate pages, such as File:Duke University Graduate Doctorate Steven Alger Clark.pdf, is not in accordance with our policies. Please do not add unreferenced or poorly referenced information, especially if controversial, to articles or any other page on Wikipedia about living persons, as you did to Draft:Steve Clark. Thank you.--Arxiloxos (talk) 07:54, 14 February 2014 (UTC)
You need to engage in talk page discussion, providing reliable sources for the claims in the article, if you want it not to be deleted. NorthBySouthBaranof (talk) 08:13, 14 February 2014 (UTC)
I suggest that you immediately engage in discussion regarding the identified issues with the articles. Otherwise, you are very much on a path to being blocked from editing the encyclopedia. You need to stop reverting and start discussing. The article is inappropriate in many ways, and at the very basic end, does not belong in the Wikipedia namespace as that is reserved for pages relating to the operation of the encyclopedia.
Every article on Wikipedia needs to be supported by reliable sources - so that we know what is being written has some verifiable basis for existing. Moreover, we do not allow the discussion of private personal spats or the introduction of legal documents relating to interpersonal disputes - that violates our policy on the biographies of living persons. Releasing personal information
[edit]Please be very, VERY careful about uploading any files that release personal information about anyone. It doesn't matter what the situation is, what you're trying to show, or how public the information may already be, revealing information such as addresses and the like is not appropriate on Wikipedia. You might also want to debate about whether or not uploading the particular file is particularly necessary, as Wikipedia does not need to have a photo of every document that is involved in a particular instance. In most cases just stating that a certain action happened, such as a cease and desist order being issued, will suffice as long as you back this up with a reliable source such as a news story about the action or a link to the court listing. Most court systems keep their records online and while it won't list every single detail, it will include enough to verify something's existence. The problem is that releasing a ton of personal information can be seen as a form of harassment against either the person requesting the C&D or the person receiving it, especially since you are one of the people involved in the dispute. Please use EXTREME caution when uploading anything or editing anything you are personally involved in. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 09:05, 14 February 2014 (UTC)
