August 2012[edit]

Your recent editing history at Messianic Bible translations shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.

To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. See BRD for how this is done. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. ⁓ Hello71 02:55, 29 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Would you help me resolve this i am a new poster and would appreciate your assistance... Kyleatdestiny (talk) 05:09, 29 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

You should always assume good faith when your edits are removed regardless if you believe that they may have been removed maliciously. To answer your question, I removed your addition because it seemed promotional and insignificant to the article and contained unnecessary information such as the list of names and an email address. If you are interested to start a separate article, I suggest visiting Wikipedia:Your first article. To learn more about editing, visit your welcome links or contact me at my talk page. I can see and respect where it could come across promotional... emails were a mistake and wish i could remove those! The names are part of the editing team which it is significant in that it is the first vetted Messianic version... so the team did seem significant and thought it is important as it separates it. If you feel a section of them should be removed i can understand that? How can I address the vetting and comply with your concerns?Kyleatdestiny (talk) 05:27, 29 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
