❤️. You've restored my dead hope in Telugu cinema. Kudos to Chaitanya Ratham despite the government's tryst with hiding info about the film. Most of the GA contributors retired and since the Telugu Wikipedia had so many of the missing articles there, I wondered if anyone would come back and contribute but you are an allrounder also covering writers and temples. So many red links at Krishna filmography, you might be able to find sourcing for the red links. I misunderstood the AfC process and accidentally sent articles like Draft:August 15 Raatri there instead of straight to articlespace. Thank you. I wanted to completely cover Chiranjeevi and Balakrishna's filmographies. I see that there are only a few films left like Billa Ranga and Devudu. I noticed that you had worked on a draft of the former, which was rejected. Tried to find a Zamin Ryot review in the hope of getting the page created, but it seems to be a rare film that wasn't reviewed there.

As for 1970s and 1980s films, most notable ones likely have long-form retrospective articles in print media such as Andhra Bhoomi, Andhra Jyothi, and Sitara (Eenadu), as well as in sites like Cinegoer and Telugucinema.com. The problem is that these sources are often poorly archived, making it difficult for their articles to appear in search engine results. There's a lot to cover. Feel free to take a break per WP:NO DEADLINE. I filed a undeletion request at Wikipedia:Requests_for_undeletion#Rana_(1998_film) for Rana (1998 film) due to a review here. I am fairly familiar with the Zamin Ryot archives to say that there is no review from there for this film. Regarding Billa Ranga, it is entirely my fault for not creating the article in the articlespace instead of the draftspace but I unsure due to lack of sources. Do go through Chiranjeevi filmography and expand the articles where you can, the articles from the '80s are not in the best state. You can't. 🙏 😭. It is very tedious. This is where me and Kailash29792 suffer. We use [1]. At my prime time for years like 1998 and 1999, I would go to every issue [2], go to page 9 and check what review is there. Now, I've realized I can just do a Google search like site:zaminryot.com "Telugu film title name". To get the film title we use Google Translate. To figure out what is on the newspaper itself we have to use the tool. It is very tedious. Glad someone finally recognized my pain. I don't know Telugu.

Regarding most of the reviews I encountered, most are Suresh and Suman films. I've linked two of them at year 1997 in Suman filmography. Btw, you were referring to Yuvaratna Rana/Rana since Devudu has an article. DareshMohan (talk) 03:29, 28 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Yes. I checked the first 100 episodes give or take some. He is not there. I left his name in the production section and removed it from the cast. With your permission, can I remove it from the production section too? In 1998 and later, he was already well established as lead/second lead and wouldn't take a television episodic role. There are several actors in the series that look like him including Harsha Vardhan on the stairs [8] and the police character in the middle (episode 51) [9]. @Srivin: Can you also confirm that Ravi Teja is not in Ruthuragalu? Both the individuals are not him. Ravi Teja began playing solo lead roles only in 1999 with Nee Kosam. Sources indicate that he only made a guest appearance in the serial and did not continue, as he was more focused on films. Additionally, not all episodes have been uploaded on YouTube. If you intend to remove him from the credits, you need to confirm that he did not appear in the series. Apart from English ones like Telugucinema.com, Andhra Today, Cinegoer, The Hindu, and Idlebrain, there’s also Telugu print media like Andhra Bhoomi, Andhra Prabha, Andhra Jyothi, and Sitara (Eenadu) for retrospective articles on older films.

This isn't a reliable source per Wikipedia:WikiProject Film/Indian cinema task force#Guidelines on sources. If you notice, there reviews are almost always negative but I didn't remove it due to good faith and the fact that there are no other reviews. For Swapnalokam, you should have just added on to my page instead of recreating on a different title Swapna Lokam. I had to do a cut-and-paste move to merge the pages, which is generally not supposed to be done. Although some sources say Swapna Lokam, title card says it as one word [17]. I wasn't aware you had already created a page. I noticed that it was redirecting to the Hindi movie page. It obviously should have a page of its own when there is sufficient information, instead of being a section on some other page. That’s why I created a new page.

As regards the title, both are valid versions. In Telugu orthography, these sorts of words are mostly written together without any space. But in English, they are sometimes written separately. So, even in official sources, we can find differences between the orthography of Telugu and English titles of the same film. In this case, I too prefer the Swapnalokam spelling.
