Voluntary sector[edit]

I hardly ever edit Wikipedia articles so I don't have an account, I do occassionaly try and clean up the place though.

The section entitled 'Voluntary Sector Recession Support' on the Voluntary sector article is so blantantly an advert, as opposed to informative content, that I removed it. Why did you immediately revert it? What's the point is allowing anyone to edit Wikipedia pages if they're non-disruptive edits are reverted without discussion? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.171.176.163 (talk) 15:02, 5 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Well, what i saw was vandalism to wikipedia. Fairly obviously there was blanking involved.--Penguin Warchief 15:06, 5 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Look closer, I deleted an advert for a website offering 'Recession Support' and left the rest of the article as it was. How is this vandalism? Did you even look at what I'd deleted? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.171.176.163 (talk) 15:02, 5 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, i fixed it, now get off of my back.--Penguin Warchief 15:14, 5 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Historical atlas[edit]

Hi Penguin Warchief,

Good to have you on board! We were just starting up again after a long period of inactivity. I proposed to Coldplay Expert, that we will start with easy tasks. How active do you like to be and what do you like to do in the project?Daanschr (talk) 15:46, 29 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

(Normally i put my responses below instead of above, but my section is included in the barnstar)Daanschr (talk) 15:50, 29 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

There is a discussion on the talk page of the historical atlas project. There we can coordinate what we will do. At the moment i am not feeling very well, so i will be little active, but another participant is very enthusiastic. So, you can discuss things with him and i might respond as well.Daanschr (talk) 07:54, 3 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

At the moment i started some discussions on borders and colours. We are still in the start-up. The best would be to first agree on a format. Once we got a format, we can apply it on several maps.Daanschr (talk) 16:01, 4 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Your rollback request[edit]

Hello Penguin Warchief, I have granted rollback rights to your account in accordance with your request. Please be aware that rollback should be used to revert vandalism/spam/blatantly unconstructive edits, and that using it to revert anything else (by revert-warring or reverting edits you disagree with) can lead to it being removed from your account...sometimes without any warning, depending on the admin who becomes aware of any misuse. For practice, you may wish to see Wikipedia:New admin school/Rollback. Good luck. Acalamari 15:21, 19 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
