Blocked due to false sockpuppet result. Am awaiting the result of my alleged sockpuppeteer's complaint to the ombudsman

RE:I have referred this to ombudsman. Lancastria is not me and I believe this an attempt to expose my geographical location as Lancashire england. --77.98.177.54 12:40, 15 August 2007 (UTC)

Your geographical location is easily obtained by anyone who runs a WHOIS on your IP. If you wanted privacy, you should have registered an account. --Deskana (banana) 12:52, 15 August 2007 (UTC)

I will also contact the ombudsman at some point. Although the IP is a vandal, this has been an unfair attempt to expose their location. I believe have been a tool for that due to my location based username "Lancastria"

Please remove the "this user is a sockpuppet" tag. The checkuser is under ombudsman investigation and I feel that my being tagged before the investigation has even properly begun is unfair. --Lancastria 14:07, 16 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The tag will be removed if you can prove you are not a sockpuppet. However, going against CheckUser evidence is going to be hard. If the Ombudsman Investigation decided you are not a sock, or it was an unfair check, and decides that the CheckUser evidence should be discarded, then the tag will be removed. At the moment, however, there is no evidence to suggest that you are not a sock, so you will be treated as one until you can prove that you are not one. :-) Stwalkerster talk 14:38, 16 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I need to contact Jimbo Wales. I suggest I am unblocked as this is a semi-legal matter and must be discussed

Decline reason:

Try WP:CONTACT to reach Jimbo Wales. —Wknight94 (talk) 11:24, 16 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

David Hicks[edit]

OK, I think it would be alright to have something in the lead about treatment at Guantanamo; something like "there have been allegations of mistreatment during his detention at G'mo bay"? Recurring dreams 11:50, 9 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Don't be scared of from editing because I reverted one of your changes. Remember to be bold, no matter how controversial the topic. Also remember to discuss the topic of pages at their talk pages and with other editors. Happy editing. Recurring dreams 12:05, 9 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

User pages[edit]

Remember not to make changes to a user's subpages, but post discussions to their talk page. As regards User:Prester John, he is not an administrator, simply an ordinary user. Recurring dreams 04:59, 12 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Re User:Prester John. He is currently blocked for violating WP:3RR. Suffice to say, I don't think you should really worry about what he is writing about you on his user subpages, unless he formally accuses you elsewhere. I would let sleeping dogs lie. Glad to help. Recurring dreams

Let the checkuser process run its course. The people who run checkuser are very professional, and if you have done nothing wrong, they will make that clear. Recurring dreams 12:03, 15 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Removed userbox[edit]

Re: [1]

Normally, I would agree with you that someone shouldn't go around removing content from other users' pages that they don't like. However, your anti-Bush userbox is a violation of WP:BLP with the "war criminal" bit. You're more than welcome to have an anti-Bush userbox, though; you can find one at {{User:EVula/Userboxes/User against Bush}}. EVula // talk // // 15:10, 13 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Help request regarding ombudsman commission[edit]

{{helpme}} Someone get me Jimbo Wales or another Foundation representative. I am not having some ignorant administrator withholding my right to an ombudsman investigation. --Lancastria 10:53, 16 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Indeed no administrator could deny you this if they tried. See meta:Ombudsman commission. You need to contact an Ombudsman privately to file a complaint. --Sopoforic 12:08, 16 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Page protected[edit]

Until such a time that I am eviscerated by the Ombudsmen, this page will be protected. Not only do I not believe you have contacted them, nor do I believe the IP which is supposedly not you has contacted them, even if you have contacted them they'll clearly see there's no privacy policy violation. Nobody is stopping you from contacting Jimbo Wales or the Ombudsmen, and several people have told you how to contact them and get a response. So, I won't let you troll anymore. And there we have it. --Deskana (banana) 17:10, 16 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
