The article Roger Davies (CEO) has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this newly created biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Greetings Larry Humphries. Thanks for your note. There are basically two problems with your edits at the above article:
a) the matter of whether the person is notable enough to have an article at Wikipedia (see Subjects notable only for one event) and
b) the use of external links in the body of text (which includes lists) rather than in the designated External links section (see Wikipedia:External links).
Regarding the former, if both people named are relevant enough to have their own pages here, the usual way of distinguishing them is to have the "straight" link going to the most "famous" person and then using brackets to describe the profession of the other person, in this case [[Jackie Glass (designer)|Jackie Glass]] which you see as Jackie Glass. As you have seen, the judge is not considered relevant enough, at this point in time, or at least when the link was made, to warrant a stand-alone article, which is why the link goes to the article about the trial. As for the designer, I have no criteria with which to evaluate the encylopedic relevance, but as you can see from the redlink above, I have left the option open for you to create an article, if you want (obviously taking into account Wikipedia's criteria for article creation), and which is where the corresponding external link should be placed. Hope that clears up any doubts you may have. If not, you know where to get in touch with me. Regards, --Technopat (talk) 00:39, 7 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
