A tag has been placed on Juliaday requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about something invented/coined/discovered by the article's creator or someone they know personally, and it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Sjö (talk) 18:47, 29 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

One part of a soul in the North and one in the South. That was the setting for the grand and rich tradition of Juliaday. First recognized in full on June 7th, 2016, it soon grew in popularity and became a sweeping movement.

Juliaday co-founder and the Southern half of the soul at the time of creation, Zac, will always be quoted in the annals of history thanks to the moving speech he gave on the first Juliaday.

"This is more than just friends reuniting; this is two broken people who found another soul that feels as they do." He began to a rousing applause from the humble masses in attendance. "Distance and depression couldn't put a damper on the strength gleaned from a few poignant, fully vulnerable messages. Late night into early morning comfort is an immeasurable gift given from one heart to another. It is all of these reasons and more that we are here today." The ebb and flow of the emotions led the crowd in waves of tears and laughter.

"The first thing I remember is that it was hot that day." The other half of Juliaday, the namesake herself, Julia, said last week during the lead up to the ten year celebration. "The moment that it began, though, the only thing I felt was comfort. No heat, no anxiety; it was how it was supposed to be. It was...Juliaday." The brimming tears in her eyes are full proof that sometimes a day is never just a day.

Each year, now working towards a decade, the same core of inspired people fill a festival ground, the big difference with each passing time is the massive growth of that core. The cheers are becoming louder, the tears bonding more and more each year. The joy flows as the two people standing on that stage, without fail, sow seeds of hope.

"It began as two dear friends just being happy that they were back around eachother." Julia says with a wistful look in her eyes. "I guess it just became something everyone could relate to."

"ExZactly." The laughter in the room is enough to show why is been ten years, and will be many more to come.
