Complete list
[edit]Just wondering if you have a complete list of all players? Just a list of names, no assessments or whatever. I want to get a good look at all the names and it's kind of irritating having to "show/hide" each one. If you don't, I can probably compile it myself. –Schmloof (talk · contribs) 17:00, 17 September 2010 (UTC)
- I just took the Hall of famers from the List of members of the Hockey Hall of Fame, that might be the easiest way to see them, the nnotables section is a bit more difficult since it was pulled from several different pages. I agree that the "show/hide" is annoying but the page becomes very large and more difficult to navigate without being able to condense some of the information.--Mo Rock...Monstrous (talk) 17:42, 17 September 2010 (UTC)
- Oh duh, of course they're on that list. Silly me. Thanks! –Schmloof (talk · contribs) 20:56, 17 September 2010 (UTC)
Overhaul
[edit]I made some changes to the layout of the page which I hope will increase readability and sort-ability. Originally I thought that it may be easier to break everything up by class and limit the overall size of the table. But, outside of Kaiser's goal of getting the first class to FA there probably isn't much of a concern over individual classes and Baseball's version was a lot cleaner and easier to read, So I changed it.
Of note on the changes:
- I'm not too concerned with the layout so if someone has an ideal that could improve the page feel free to do so or even change it back if you feel it was better.
- I tried to make the currently tab sortable from highest to lowest instead of Alpha order using the {{sort|1|{{class-FA}}}} similar to how I sorted positions on the List of Atlanta Thrashers draft picks but it didn't work. Not sure if it's because of it being a template or what the reason was. If someone knows how to get this to sort could you maybe make a couple of examples and I can change the rest?
- Dan Snyder was removed, not because of Atlanta moving, but becouse I have not found a RS that states his jersey # was retired by the Thrashers.
That's it for now. Cheers --Mo Rock...Monstrous (leech44) 18:57, 13 September 2012 (UTC)
- Yeah, definitely cleaner. I kinda liked seeing individual year progression too, but I'm not so lazy that I can't count myself. ;) I do plan on adding Paul Henderson... once he passes GA. heh. Resolute 20:14, 13 September 2012 (UTC)
- An excellent idea with his performance in the Summit Series he is definitely a guy who will garner interest, plus 1 for 1 always helps the percentages. --Mo Rock...Monstrous (leech44) 18:48, 15 September 2012 (UTC)
