Punctuation

[edit]

Please do not remove dahes from articles and replace them with commas. In doing so you introduced a number of errors into the Ian Fleming article which I have had to remove. Please see MOS:DASH for how and why this form of punctuation is used. Additionally, please do not change the language, structure or format of quotes unless you have the cited work in front of you. Your edits in the Fleming article removed ellipses, which were there for a reason. Please see WP:ELLIPSES for an explanation of why they are there and how they should be fotmatted. Please do not alter Stalin's name to Josef: although either Josef or Joseph are acceptable, the consensus on the article here puts his name as Joseph, so that is the variant we generally use. - SchroCat (talk) 13:40, 16 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

ANI discussion

[edit]

Can I suggest that you go straight away to the discussion about your editing which is taking place on the Administrators' noticeboard. You should certainly go there and take part before you make any further edits. - SchroCat (talk) 03:24, 7 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
