All-Star Bats[edit]

No source is required for issues 1-8 because those issues have already been published, and therefore, serve as their own source. But information about books yet to be published requires a source to be cited in the text. This is not a problem on my part, it's Wikipedia's policy. If the source is replaced after publication, that's fine, since by then, that issue is the source, as you mentioned. Without a source, deleting the material is indeed appropriate according to WP policy.

Btw, deleting comments by others from your Talk Page is frowned upon. As it says at WP:Talk Page Etiquette:

If you have any further questions or need help, let me know. Thanks again. Nightscream (talk) 21:24, 21 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Be careful what you label vandalism, as it can come back to haunt you. In no way was the edit you reverted on TSCC vandalism. WikiKingOfMishawaka (talk) 11:07, 13 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Various List of articles.[edit]

See discussions at WikiComicsProject. Duggy 1138 (talk) 13:03, 2 November 2008 (UTC) Sorry, Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Comics is the link. Duggy 1138 (talk) 13:13, 2 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It certainly started as a question about the "Current", but it moved on to a problem that Emperor and I had been having with quite a few comic book lists and especially with pages being swamped and forced into stub status by oversized comic list. As part of the clean-up and restructuring of quite a number of pages, I looked again at the List of DC Comics reprint collections article again. While, sure, I can see how from a limited POV the List of Showcase Presents publications exists only as a spin-off of the Showcase Presents page, but it also exists as a spin-off of List of DC Comics reprints. Of course, that sort of thing leads to duplication (trust me, I've spent the weekend combining duplicate comic lists from other companies). The article certainly hasn't become a stub by removing the list and could possibly benefit from having room to grow. The list itself, of course, is going to grow and keep growing while DC keeps releasing these collections and that's where long term planning stops the list taking over a page which I can tell you from experience has happened on many, many comic book pages. It also allows more precise categorising. All of these benefits, I feel, outweigh the minor inconvenience of having to click to a second page to view the list. Of course, if you feel strongly about this, you can discuss it on the Showcase Present, List of Showcase Presents comics or the Comic Projects page and get others to back your view. Consensus is a powerful tool. Duggy 1138 (talk) 22:43, 2 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Bendis Daredevil Omnibus Vol. 2[edit]

I got the updated solicitation here: http://www.collectedcomicslibrary.com/2009/07/02/collected-edition-shipping-product-updates-for-the-week-of-7109/ which I'm pretty sure comes directly from Diamond. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.84.183.181 (talk) 08:05, 4 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Discussion[edit]

Rather than edit-war over content removal, I've opened up a discussion at Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa#Taymor's denial, which I hope you and other interested editors will join. --Tenebrae (talk) 15:43, 18 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Fine. I'm not going to get in into an edit-war over something covered in another article. I do think it was improper and uncivil to accuse me of WP:OWN when an evidently WP:COI editor had been attempting to use the article for promotional purposes. I respectfully ask that you remove those unjust accusations from the two posts. --Tenebrae (talk) 17:50, 18 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
My thanks. I've seen your signature around, and I've always had respect for your edits, even on the rare occasions we might disagree. The fact you are collegial and honorable just adds to your welcome presence. With my regards, --Tenebrae (talk) 18:15, 18 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

February 2014[edit]

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Marvel Masterworks may have broken the syntax by modifying 2 "{}"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:
  • |''Marvel Rarities: Vol. 1}}''

Ayers[edit]

Hi, Leo. Where did you hear of his passing? I've started a thread on the Dick Ayers talk page, where I'm going through all the various sources where his obit might have appeared and I've found nothing so far. --Tenebrae (talk) 20:42, 5 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Cool. We need to wait till its reported somewhere, though, since we can't use forum postings or the like as reference sources. I'm sure somebody will have something soon. Maybe they do already. I'll check Evanier again. --Tenebrae (talk) 22:12, 5 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
