Section deleted

[edit]

Hi, why do you have deleted that section?--Altaileopard (talk) 12:38, 13 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It is irrelevant -- why, in an article about Proailurus, talk about another organism which is not even very closely related? As with most extinct animals, we don't know what Proailurus' direct ancestors and descendants (if any) were. --Levana Taylor (talk) 21:08, 14 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Until recently Proailurus was believed to be a real felid. Today that is disputed, but still possible. Proailurus could still be that animal from which Pseudaelurus orginated.. and therefore all living felids. That is not irrelevant.--Altaileopard (talk) 17:20, 15 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, I changed the wording of the paragraph to reflect what you just said. What do you think of it? --Levana Taylor (talk) 18:50, 15 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Puijila darwini

[edit]

Yeah, but I put it back into the external links. I don't know much about the topic myself so in future I'll bear in mind that the BBC don't handle it very well. Thanks. :) --candlewicke 20:16, 25 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Oh right. :) Well you seem to know more on the subject so I'll follow your guidance. If you think it should be removed then perhaps that is the best idea. --candlewicke 20:21, 25 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

More queries on Puijila darwini

[edit]

As you seem to have used common sense in Puijila darwini, can I ask you to look at my queries in the talk page and, if you deem it right, act on them?

IceDragon64 (talk) 21:22, 25 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

You can view the whole paper here: http://nature.ca/puijila/pdf/nature07985-16883_B-E200911-FINAL.pdf

I do not like the link to the Switek article- Puijila is NOT a seal and Switek says Puijila is "Just prior to enalarctos, which if I have not got lost in all these references, is not known to be true, despite the apparently primitive body structure. Indeed the Wiki page does not make it clear that the fossil puijila is younger than enalarctos.

Thanks for stepping in here. IceDragon64 (talk) 22:31, 25 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Bridger Formation

[edit]

You might consider knocking up a little page on the Bridger Formation, which is refered to in your aritcle on that bird. One could then link one to the other and maybe put in a few more examples of Bridger Formation species.

IceDragon64 (talk) 22:42, 25 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. In the above article there is a reference to an "1890 Exposition." I can't find any reference to such an exposition. Can you elaborate by doing an edit on the article. Sincerely, GeorgeLouis (talk) 22:31, 1 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Levana Re Moulinex Page

Sorry but there is no such word 'brandname' ... it should be 'brand name' !

About Zartarco Ltd being the oldest distributor. The information is 100% correct and can be verified by Groupe Seb Export if you contact the export department : GRANDJEAN Hervé [hgrandjean@groupeseb.com]. By the way behind the username Zartarco there is a person Parsegh Zartarian... so Zartarco is not just promoting itself for some monetary or other benefit.
