Common names and capitalisation
[edit]Hi Ligray, thanks for your edits on Common shore eel. One thing to bear in mind when editing Wikipedia articles on animals and plants is that common names are not given initial capital letters unless they contain a proper noun. As a birder, I personally don't agree with this but that was what was agreed by editors some time ago. So it is Mediterranean gull or Steller's sea eagle but not Little Gull or White-tailed Eagle. see Wikipedia:WikiProject Birds.Quetzal1964 (talk) 11:39, 2 June 2019 (UTC)
