[edit]Just a quick note that I've reverted your addition to the Taxation in the United States article. Wikipedia has some pretty strict standards about what should be used as a reference. Your addition appeared to be soley to add a link to a for-profit website to Wikipedia, which is not allowed. Thanks! Ravensfire (talk) 21:21, 3 November 2009 (UTC)
Copyright issues
[edit]Your addition to Car donation has been removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of article content such as sentences or images. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. --CliffC (talk) 22:18, 3 November 2009 (UTC)
Article lead sections
[edit]Please review WP:LEAD for an understanding of what belongs in an article's lead section. Wikipedia articles have a certain structure and the lead serves as an introduction only. I'm adding a template below to help you get started. Best, CliffC (talk) 22:31, 3 November 2009 (UTC)

Using Wikipedia for promotion
[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, please do not add promotional material to articles or other Wikipedia pages, as you did to Fundraising. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" is strongly discouraged. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. CliffC (talk) 22:36, 3 November 2009 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Harvard "Pete" Palmer, Jr.
[edit]A tag has been placed on Harvard "Pete" Palmer, Jr., requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam as well as Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you.
