If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Fusible plastic beads requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article or image appears to be a clear copyright infringement. This article or image appears to be a direct copy from http://world.themagpiebeadco.com/content/origin. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. OK, I moved a section from the article Bead: [1]. I guess that need to be checked as well as my removal was reverted too, so it is still there.--LittleGun (talk) 21:29, 25 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Apology[edit]

I apologize for being a bit hard on you and for the sarcasm at Talk:2017 Stockholm attack. I was hoping for more non-Swedish input and got nervous when none came in (then, yet). I do believe in the bias (not yours necessarily) but that was an over-reaction. Sorry! --SergeWoodzing (talk) 15:32, 25 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I want to respond to what you said there. We are trying to discourage articles that don't meet Wikipedia standards to appear in the encyclopedia. There are several ways to let newbies work on their skills, and draft space is one of them. It is better to let newbies work on existing articles before they try to create one. Your way would be even more discouraging because many articles get deleted because they were not ready for mainspace. If we can avoid having substandard articles there, we want to. Older articles might be substandard, but they should be deleted.— Vchimpanzee • talk • contributions • 21:27, 16 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I understand the concept. I just don't like it. To me it is unwikipedian and a step back to Nupedia. "Substandard" articles should not be deleted, they should be improved if notability is shown. Maybe Wikipedia will survive, having a critical mass of users Nupedia never managed to recruit. But it makes Wikipedia another, less joyful, project than the one I joined.--LittleGun (talk) 10:09, 17 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
You can certainly start a discussion. I'm not sure where but WP:VPP is a good place. You won't likely get anywhere.— Vchimpanzee • talk • contributions • 16:17, 17 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
