[edit]Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. —C.Fred (talk) 04:30, 2 March 2009 (UTC)

[edit]The notability guidelines for musicians are at WP:MUSIC. Please see my comment on the AfD page also: I think there's currently enough notability to keep the article around, but I think independent reliable sources need to be found to back up the claims. —C.Fred (talk) 04:30, 2 March 2009 (UTC)

[edit]The article in question was brought to my attention from a bot generated list of articles that may have conflicts of interests. Since the content was a copy-and-paste it appears to be a copyright violation, furthermore even with permission the problem remains that it is written with a particular point of view in mind and is not referenced with reliable sources nor does the article establish or claim notability; particularly WP:Music. Just because this artist is mentioned on a list of musicians on another Wikipedia article does not make him notable enough for an article nor even inclusion on said list. As for the tone of the article it full of irrelevant information and is drawn out, it remains largely uncited, does not state notability, is not written like most musician's articles, clearly shows that this is just an ordinary man, and is written sophmorically. The other articles are poor examples and I have tagged them as unreferenced and questionably notable. The guidelines are WP:Music and WP:N. Permession of not you should reference the material not copy it.Troyster87 (talk) 06:16, 2 March 2009 (UTC)
Noted. Thanks. I will be rewriting it within the next few days. I am also working on digging up the other sources.--Llewcellist (talk) 03:58, 3 March 2009 (UTC)
These are the changes I made to the article. Please see also Talk:Caitlin Hulcup for further information about the sources you used. As pointed out above, if you have any connection whatsoever (personal or professional) with InterHarmony International Music Festival you need to read WP:Conflict of interest and scrupulously follow the guidance there. These are the changes I made to the article. It still needs a lot of clean-up and much better sourcing. Voceditenore (talk) 14:57, 18 July 2010 (UTC)
