Your recent edits
[edit]Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 19:04, 5 May 2009 (UTC)
Spshu
[edit]FYI...Spshu is up to his old tricks on the List of Avengers members article. I expect another confrontation with him on the talk page, but I thought I'd let you know, that he is childishly keeping track of every post that he disagrees with, on his user page at User:Spshu/Sandbox1. Current Avengers roster
[edit]Hello LobtsterJ! Just thought I'd let you know if you don't already, that there's a discussion on the talk page for the List of Avengers members article, regarding the best way to display who is currently an active member. Please consider adding your opinion to the discussion, so that we can come to a consensus, by replying under the "Current Roster" section. Thanks! Fortdj33 (talk) 13:17, 15 June 2010 (UTC)
Unblock request
[edit]LobtsterJ (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log))
Request reason:
Hello, I would like to be unblocked. In your section on this matter, it says I need to understand why I have been blocked. I looked at the block page and I have no idea why I have been blocked. Can an administrator perhaps explain it to me? I recently (earlier this month) moved to a new location, would the IP address I post from change and could that be the reason? Thanks for any help.
Decline reason:
Procedural decline; due to the granting of IP block exemption (see below), you should now be able to edit. If you still have problems, add another unblock request. Sorry for the inconvenience! — Tivedshambo (t/c) 17:55, 23 May 2011 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
- I don't see any blocks on this account. What message do you get when you try to edit? — Tivedshambo (t/c) 11:53, 23 May 2011 (UTC)
You are currently unable to edit pages on Wikipedia.
You can still read pages, but you cannot edit or create them.
Editing from 74.69.248.0/22 has been disabled by Cirt for the following reason(s): Abusing multiple accounts: massive cross wiki projects sock farm
This block has been set to expire: 07:31, 14 October 2011.
Even if blocked, you will usually still be able to edit your user talk page and contact other editors and administrators by e-mail.
Note: Please use the [show] links across from each header to show more information. LobtsterJ (talk) 11:59, 23 May 2011 (UTC)
- It looks to me like you've been caught up in a block designed to stop abuse from another user. As I don't know the background behind this, I've asked the admin involved to comment. — Tivedshambo (t/c) 12:16, 23 May 2011 (UTC)
IP block exempt
[edit]I have granted your account an exemption from IP blocking. This will allow you to edit through full blocks affecting your IP address when you are logged in.
Please read the page Wikipedia:IP block exemption carefully, especially the section on IP block exemption conditions.
Note in particular that you are not permitted to use this newly-granted right to edit Wikipedia via anonymous proxies, or disruptively. If you do, or there is a serious concern of abuse, then the right may be removed by any administrator.
Appropriate usage and compliance with the policy may be checked periodically, due to the nature of block exemption, and block exemption will be removed when no longer needed (for example, when the block it is related to expires).
I hope this will enhance your editing, and allow you to edit successfully and without disruption.-- Cirt (talk) 17:21, 23 May 2011 (UTC)
