Hi, M.brandonclark!

I noticed your edits to GayVN Awards and wanted to explain why I reverted them. In general, Wikilinks are provided to other articles the *first* time a word or phrase is used in each section. In this article's case, the first instance of "Hot House Entertainment" within each years' awards is linked - all others should remain unlinked. For more information, see WP:MOSLINKS. Thanks! By the way - Welcome! -- SatyrTN (talk | contribs) 05:39, 29 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I see you've uploaded a new version of this image, for which you've got permission. That's good, but what exactly is the nature of the permission? All images must have a copyright tag giving their copyright status and the license they're being used under. Sorry to be a pain but ..... --Simon Speed 17:40, 13 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I'm fairly new myself. I've found Wikipedia:Example requests for permission which seems to spell some things out, particularly that a photo has to have one of the free licenses rather than just a permission to use on the Wikipedia. I've seen this stated a lot, yet there still seem to be a lot of fair use images on pages. Maybe you could ask the copyright owner to license the picture under the GFDL, cc-by or cc-sa and see what they say. --Simon Speed 00:28, 14 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use disputed for Image:Hot House Entertainment Logo.png

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Hot House Entertainment Logo.png. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our Criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 05:00, 16 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
