Arifwala, Vehari, Chicha watni and Sahuka lies in its east, west, north and south respectively. Burewala has 32 Union Council. By 2020, it turns to 107 years of age.
History of Burewala
Burewala was came into being in 1913 by the English people. If they had to travel from Multan to Dehli, they had to pass from this current city Burewala. A project of Railway lines was completed in 1925. Naming of Burewala has different theories, but the most famous and most acceptable theory is that there was a man namely Bura Sing living just behind the current Railway Station. He left his place for the Project of Railway and from this conspiracy the Burewala name arose. This is most often told story but to how much extent, it is true, Allah Almighty knows better. Burewala, Arifwala and Vehari, although 3 in number, considered as twin cities because these were established on the same pattern and map. Out of these three, Burewala is the 31st largest city of Pakistan while Vehari is the 58th largest city of Pakistan. Without any proper reason, Vehari has a status of District while Burewala has a status of Tehsil. Now a days, there is a moment running at peak for changing the status of Burewala from tehsil to district in the new upcoming province South Punjab of Pakistan. There is a rest house namely Mian Pakhi rest house. Story of this rest house is that Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru was prisoned in this rest house. A very famous mosque, Fateh Purr Mosque was founded by Mughal King Akbar. Burewala has the largest Grain Market in Multan Division.

Conclusion
In order to sum up my work, I would like say that if Burewala is capable of getting the current status without facilities and proper support then you can think of the potential its residents have. The politicians from this region were considered as backbenchers but due to their courage in Provincial and National assembly the request is sent to Prime Minister for approval to give Burewala the status of District. Inshallah Burewala will perform better than the records.
