Feedback on your article[edit]

Hello Maaspsychology, Thank you for writing your article in your sandbox! I have read the article and would like to give some feedback to improve your article to Wikipedia standards and customs. I especially will look if it meets the quality standards we have on Wikipedia. I standard look for a series of subjects that need improvement or are okay.

  • Intro sentence: Why do you start with "The second edition of the book"? This only would have been done if the first edition was completely different and by another author. If you change it to "The book", it would have been good. First two paragraphs: (besides the things mentioned) excellent written!
  • Links: Please use more links.
  • Headers: I think "Specific criminal psychology" + "Relation of mental illness and crime" is one more then needed, for the rest okay.
  • References: More references! And more sources! The references mentioned at the bottom should have a * at the beginning of the line.
  • Context/timeframe: ?
  • How was the book received: ?
  • Other: Please do not abbreviate "engl".

I hope you can implement this feedback to your sandbox article before our next meeting. Thanks! Romaine (talk) 08:56, 10 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Maaspsychology, Thank you for improving your article! Last week we specifically asked to make sure you add sources/references to your article, because that is one of the most important parts of a Wikipedia article. We also wanted to make sure the intro sentence/section is ready. Let's see how it is going now.
  • Intro sentence: good!
  • Links: Basic keywords are still not linked, including the author, a city, criminals, etc.
  • Headers: Sufficient/fine. I would suggest to change "Reviews" to "Reception", and you may also try to look for a different word for "Context".
  • References: Sufficient for now. If you can find more sources, this would be very welcome! Those paragraphs that do not end with a reference, please add a reference there too.
  • Context/timeframe: Thank you for this huge improvement! The detail I miss is the direct relationship with the book from Pollitz.
  • How was the book received: Good!
Keep up the good work! Romaine (talk) 01:18, 17 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Article accepted[edit]

Hi and thank you for contributing the interesting draft of Die Psychologie des Verbrechers: I've accepted it and it's now available as an article. It seems like a wonderfully obscure book that probably strides the inclusion boundary defined by wikipedia's notability criteria, so it's possible that at some point it will get nominated for deletion (which might not necessarily result in deletion). At any rate, it's a valuable article. Thank you again for contributing it! – Uanfala (talk) 01:24, 27 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
