Hello, MaddieAcheson, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Ian and I work with Wiki Education; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. Moving your work from another user's space

[edit]

MaddieAcheson, in response to your help request at Ian's talk page about moving the page you have been working on from someone else's user space, it sounds like you must be talking about the page "User:Relijohn/Least restrictive environment". Since you are the only user who has ever edited this page, and since there are zero in-links (Ian will understand this part), it seems uncontroversial to move this page to your user space, leaving no redirect behind. I have completed the move for you, so you can now find your work at User:MaddieAcheson/Least restrictive environment. I hope this is what you wanted, but if not, please {{reply}} to me below, or ask User:Ian (Wiki Ed) at his talk page for additional help.

Regarding your second question about how to publish the article to Wikipedia, are you ready to do that now? If so, please check with User:Ian (Wiki Ed), and he'll help you. Good luck in your course! Mathglot (talk) 10:02, 10 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Section header usage at LRE

[edit]

Maddie, if your work currently located at User:MaddieAcheson/Least restrictive environment is destined to become an article called "Least restrictive environment", then you should update all the section headers on that page. The first section header is called "Least restrictive environment", but there is no need to have a section header with the same name as the title of the article, so that header should be removed. All the other sections that are currently under that one, should be moved up to top level (H2) sections, i.e., with two equal signs before and after the title. Does that make sense?
