Cleveland Publishing
[edit]In October 1950 Cleveland Press (Cleveland Publishing) issued their first comic, The Twilight Ranger, written by Michael Noonan and illustrated by Keith Chatto. It was based on a popular radio serial of the same name. It ran for seven issues. They issued a second comic, El Lobo - The Man from Nowhere, in late 1956, which ran for 23 issues. The comic was also illustrated by Chatto. In 1956 Cleveland Press also introduced the trademark 100-page comic, King Sized Comics, using reprint material, which included Frank Frazetta's Johnny Comet and Rick Yager's Buck Rogers. The comic was regularly issued until late 1959. In the late 1960s the issued Clancy of the Overflow, illustrated by Hal English. This title lasted for five issues.
Cleveland Press also issued a pocketbook sized series of western, romance and war comics, Silhouette. The majority of the covers were drawn by Stanley Pitt and the comics were illustrated by Chatto, English and Jeff Wilkinson. Cleveland were one of the last major Australian publishers to print original Australian comics. Dan arndt (talk) 04:53, 25 June 2020 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm SunDawn. I noticed that in this edit to Barrallier Books, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. SunDawn (talk) 06:53, 3 May 2021 (UTC)
Echo Books moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Echo Books, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. Right now it is only sourced with primary sources, or trivial mentions.(?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.
