Information icon Hello, I'm Opencooper. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Ramon Jacinto, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source, so I removed it. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! Opencooper (talk) 02:05, 24 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Help me!

[edit]

My edits was removed because I do not have source info. Please help me with... Adding edits without source. I am working for RJ Jacinto, (removed by User:Chrisw80) - and was instructed to add the revised version on his wiki page.

Please do not add or significantly change content without citing verifiable and reliable sources, as you did with this edit to Ramon Jacinto. Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Donner60 (talk) 02:22, 24 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I thought I'd give you a more personalized message: Wikipedia absolutely requires reliable sources for additions to articles for the purpose of verifiability. This is especially crucial for biographies of living people because unsourced information that cannot be verified could be harmful or misleading. Your edits were especially questionable because they violated our policty of writing from a netural point of view, veering into blatant advertising and editorializing. Wikipedia is not a means of promotion. Lastly you say you are writing on the author's behalf, please read our policies on editing with a conflict of interest, which, like the other editor said, mainly advises against editing articles for people you are affiliated with, and instead proposing the changes on the talk page. I hope this helps. Don't hesitate to ask any clarifying questions if anything is unclear. Opencooper (talk) 02:34, 24 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Ramon Jacinto, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Opencooper (talk) 05:14, 3 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I took the time to write you a personalized message on exactly why this unacceptable in the past. The fact that you chose to ignore all that is very disappointing. If you continue editing disruptively, you may be banned. Opencooper (talk) 05:20, 3 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Please help me add the links / source as what happened in my previous editing. No need to be rude. I work for RJ Jacinto and he wanted a more elaborate wiki article. Thank you!
