Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Lucas Bols, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use the sandbox for that. Thank you. Dear talk, My apologies. I thought I explained in the edit summaries that I aligned the article to the Dutch article. Can I make these changes so that the page look a like and tell the same information? MariekeKraanLB (talk) 15:53, 6 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Note that some of the content and formatting practices on the English Wikipedia are different than the Dutch Wikipedia, simply replacing the content of an English article with that of the corresponding Dutch article can cause trouble. The Dutch version of Lucas Bols has less content and fewer references than the English article, therefore it may have been better to update the Dutch article based on the additional details from the English page. In any case, be careful when overwriting existing content unless there is valid reason to do so e.g. the new content has improved sources and detail, or the old content does not conform to guidelines or policy.
