Welcome!

[edit]

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. The following links will help you begin editing on Wikipedia:

Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia:

The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome! Weak Sources?, It's because the authentic sources are blocked by Wikipedia, few choosen one in that matter, nobody knows why, maybe few people do! but it's ok I will find the authentic one, but you shouldn't remove the budget of the film, I am telling you. Massod123 (talk) 17:46, 18 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Please take some time to make sure your edits are properly worded and grammatically correct. Also do read WP:NPOV, which I linked above, to understand why words like 'discredit' are too strong to be used on the basis of the sources you had put forth. Hemantha (talk) 18:23, 18 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
don't edit it , I will add few more links to prove why I use the word discredit Massod123 (talk) 18:25, 18 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
You cannot use the same words that sourced articles use. You should use your own words in your edits. Please go through the links in the message below. Hemantha (talk) 18:27, 18 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Control copyright icon Hello Massod123! Your additions to Shikara (2020 film) have been removed in whole or in part, as they appear to have added copyrighted content without evidence that the source material is in the public domain or has been released by its owner or legal agent under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. (To request such a release, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission.) While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from sources to avoid copyright and plagiarism issues.

  • You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
  • Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify the information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
  • We have strict guidelines on the usage of copyrighted images. Fair use images must meet all ten of the non-free content criteria in order to be used in articles, or they will be deleted. To be used on Wikipedia, all other images must be made available under a free and open copyright license that allows commercial and derivative reuse.
  • If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a legally designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. Understand, though, that unlike many other sites, where a person can license their content for use there and retain non-free ownership, that is not possible at Wikipedia. Rather, the release of content must be irrevocable, to the world, into either the public domain (PD) or under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. Such a release must be done in a verifiable manner, so that the authority of the person purporting to release the copyright is evidenced. See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
  • Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you must follow the copyright attribution steps described at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. See also Help:Translation#License requirements.

It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Hemantha (talk) 18:25, 18 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, I won't use the word "discredit", stop whining about it. Massod123 (talk) 18:27, 18 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
You know I add credible links , Print and ET, and I won't use the word "discredit", ok? Massod123 (talk) 18:29, 18 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Before further edits, do go through the blue links in the messages above, which have extremely helpful information valuable to you. Hemantha (talk) 18:33, 18 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Ok Massod123 (talk) 18:38, 18 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Since you've once again added words as it is from the Print, you clearly didn't read any of it. The specific policy here is WP:CLOSEPARAPHRASING. Read that at least. Hemantha (talk) 18:53, 18 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Repeated restoration of closely paraphrased content

[edit]

Information icon Hi Massod123! I noticed that you have reverted to restore your preferred version of Shikara (2020 film) several times. The impulse to undo an edit you disagree with is understandable, but I wanted to make sure you're aware that the edit warring policy disallows repeated reversions even if they are justifiable.

All editors are expected to discuss content disputes on article talk pages to try to reach consensus. If you are unable to agree at Talk:Shikara (2020 film), please use one of the dispute resolution options to seek input from others. Using this approach instead of reverting can help you avoid getting drawn into an edit war. You've once again restored closely paraphrased content.. Hemantha (talk) 18:39, 18 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Slow edit war in Shikara (2020)

[edit]

Your repeated restoration of poorly sourced claims of audience reception constitute edit warring. Use talk page if you wish to include content. Some churnalist content based on a couple of tweet posts isn't a good source for a generalised claim that the audience was critical Hemantha (talk) 05:42, 20 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

you also know the audience criticize the movie by the fact that the collection of Shikara decrease drastically and that's why no redible source put the budget of this film, which if people put it in, you always try to erase it by saying not from the credible links, Rotten tomatoes and IMDB are proof which wikipedia don't believe in for obvious reason we both know. and this movie is utter flop so that's why critical is the right word Massod123 (talk) 13:20, 20 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
You are the one who is editing/removing the right detail and draging this edit war Massod123 (talk) 13:21, 20 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
