re: copyright issues[edit]

I am webmaster of As-Sunnah Foundation of America, and vice president, therefore eligible to permit use of the ASFA copyright materials. Is that sufficient explanation? Mateens 05:43, 25 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It's not enough to allow use of copyrighted materials, you have to own the copyright exclusively and license it into the GFDL. However, if if you are, I STRONGLY recommend not doing so as it will probably not be impartial. I recommend you write it up in your own words and link to the copyrighted material (EG. The official site) as a source/reference. Also, don't create multiple pages on the same subject. Use the offical (Legal) name and then create the most likely Wikipedia:Redirects to it. 68.39.174.238 00:15, 13 February 2007 (UTC) PS. If you want to reply to this, I will get the message faster if you post your reply to User talk:68.39.174.238. 68.39.174.238 00:15, 13 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of As-sunnah foundation[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article As-sunnah foundation, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

Appears to fail WP:ORG. Gnews results minimal, tagged for 2 years.

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached.
