Welcome!

[edit]

There's a page about creating articles you may want to read called Your first article. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on this page, followed by your question, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Questions or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! Ghorpaapi (talk) 09:32, 18 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (File:Official logo of the software pyrat.png)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Official logo of the software pyrat.png. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:30, 26 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Only yesterday, I specifically warned you against adding copyrighted content to Wikipedia, yet you promptly went ahead and re-added the exact same content to your userpage. It's clear that you either haven't understood or don't intend to abide by Wikipedia's copyright policy - I am therefore blocking this account until you can demonstrate that you understand the policy and that you undertake to avoid adding such content again. April 2013

[edit]
You have been blocked from editing for a period of two weeks for violating copyright policy by copying text or images into Wikipedia from another source without verifying permission. You have been previously warned that this is against policy, but have persisted. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.  Yunshui  09:12, 26 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

I probably made a mistake, because I understood that using the wizard tool I was able to update content and see if it is ok for being in the pyrat site.. then I don't know why it got in my user account.. I try to change it but I had to do some other stauff and after a few hours my account was blocked (you work really fast!) Anyway, I have contact the pyrat's owner and they allow me to upload this content. Moreover, I change it in some way that it doesn't go again the copyright policies, or at least I don't think so. If you thinks my account should continue blocked, is fine, I can wait, but If you think my reasons are ok, then better for me. Thanks! --Matoges (talk) 09:18, 26 April 2013 (UTC)matoges Matoges (talk) 09:18, 26 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Your claim that you made a mistake is completely disingenuous, as you repeatedly created the same content numerous times, and removed numerous messages from your talk page about it. (Incidentally, my advice is not to bother providing Wikipedia with evidence of copyright permission when your block expires, because even with such permission, if you upload the same content again it will be deleted as advertising.) If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
