Sandbox

[edit]

Hi! I noticed that in your sandbox you appear to be working on a draft for Miki Agrawal. I wanted to warn you that an article for her was deleted at the Articles for Deletion process back in 2013. She's had more coverage since then, however it is possible that someone could still argue that she doesn't meet notability guidelines. Her most recent coverage seems to be concerning allegations of sexual harassment at THINX, which I'll note isn't covered at the article for the company. (The page as a whole is rather under developed.)

Basically, you need to show where she's received enough coverage as a whole to justify an article. I'd specifically be careful of using coverage of the allegations, as that falls under the scope of WP:BLPCRIME. That policy basically states that we typically don't include information about allegations unless someone is convicted or unless there is so much non-tabloid coverage that it makes it a significant event. In other words, I think that you can definitely include information about the allegations but you shouldn't rely on that coverage to show notability unless it goes into her past history enough to where we could argue that it's an overview of her life as much as about the allegations.

I hope this doesn't scare you off of this topic - I just wanted to give you a head's up. Shalor (Wiki Ed) (talk) 21:03, 13 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Ways to improve Miki Agrawal

[edit]

Hi, I'm Enwebb. Max cohn, thanks for creating Miki Agrawal!

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. This article has a lot of detailed coverage of harassment allegations, which may be a violation of WP:BLPCRIME. There was never a guilty charge, so these allegations should probably be removed.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse.

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Miki Agrawal, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator.
