Hi, welcome to Wikipedia... I've noticed your edits to Ranch-style house and thank you for them. If you are getting this information from a book or some other specific source, can you cite it, or let me help you cite that source? This would really make the article great. See WP:CITE for how, but I'd be happy to help you since this is an article I've been meaning to improve for a while. If you need any further help, let me know. --W.marsh 18:39, 21 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for Image:Neoeclectichomes.JPG

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Neoeclectichomes.JPG. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 04:09, 6 April 2007 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free image (Image:BGHCOVER.JPG)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:BGHCOVER.JPG. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 12:05, 16 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

NowCommons: File:2003cortelcomodel500DSCN0062.JPG

[edit]

File:2003cortelcomodel500DSCN0062.JPG is now available on Wikimedia Commons as Commons:File:Cortelco Model 500 Rotary Phone.jpg. This is a repository of free media that can be used on all Wikimedia wikis. The image will be deleted from Wikipedia, but this doesn't mean it can't be used anymore. You can embed an image uploaded to Commons like you would an image uploaded to Wikipedia, in this case: [[File:Cortelco Model 500 Rotary Phone.jpg]]. Note that this is an automated message to inform you about the move. This bot did not copy the image itself. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 05:37, 6 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Too many images in Model 500 telephone

[edit]

Hi,

I have noticed that you are the person who added the images of the insides of a 1951 Model 500 telephone to the Model 500 telephone article. While I am assuming good faith in your edits, your edits add too many images to the article. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, it is not a telephone collector website. You can discuss this further at Talk:Model 500 telephone.

Note: I am not referring at all to your addition of the image of a 2003 Cortelco Model 500 to the article. The image is very encyclopedic, as it demonstrates a modern-manufactured Model 500, so I congratulate you for that one.

Ranch-style house images

[edit]

Greetings!

Recently I happen to stumble across images of ranch-style residential architecture that you have uploaded to Wikipedia and I decided to organize the photographs into one category (here is the link to the new Wikimedia category page that I created). I'd like to add additional information about the images, such as the street or city and state of each home and what year the images were taken in? If you have any additional information available feel free to let me know and I'd be more than happy to update the data. I really appreciate the time you have put into this article and the rich amount of information now available is really an accomplishment you should be proud of! Thank you! --Djrun (talk) 22:52, 6 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:Googie style architecture in Glasgow, Montana, USA.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Wikipedia (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Notification of automated file description generation

[edit]

Your upload of File:Ahonda1968 CB175.jpg or contribution to its description is noted, and thanks (even if belatedly) for your contribution. In order to help make better use of the media, an attempt has been made by an automated process to identify and add certain information to the media's description page.

This notification is placed on your talk page because a bot has identified you either as the uploader of the file, or as a contributor to its metadata. It would be appreciated if you could carefully review the information the bot added. To opt out of these notifications, please follow the instructions here. Thanks! Hey, I was looking at the photo you uploaded of the ranch style house. Could you tell me where in bakersfield it is? I'm trying to find it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Photar (talkcontribs) 21:01, 25 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
