The recent edit you made to Hitler's rise to power constitutes vandalism, and has been reverted. Please do not continue to vandalize pages; use the sandbox for testing. Thanks – Gurch 06:51, 9 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia[edit]

This is not your average website. Wikipedia, the Free Encyclopedia, is a huge project constructed by thousands of volunteers – and now you're one of them! Whether you're here to edit or read, your experience is sure to be a rewarding one. Since this is a learning environment, there are many policies, and most users don't know them all. Just remember:

  • Don't Vandalize. All edits are recorded on Wikipedia, and you will get caught.

You'll get to know more about how Wikipedia works the more you edit. So go ahead and edit this page. If you have any questions, ask me by leaving a note on my talk page. To do this, go to that page, click the "+" at the top, and start typing. Click the "Save Page" button when you're done. ALTON .ıl 06:55, 9 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop adding nonsense to Wikipedia, as you did to Weimar Republic. It is considered vandalism, which under Wikipedia policy, can lead to blocking of editing privileges. If you would like to experiment again, please use the sandbox. - Alison 06:58, 9 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing. However, unconstructive edits are considered vandalism and are immediately reverted. If you continue in this manner you may be blocked from editing without further warning. Please stop, and consider improving rather than damaging the work of others. Thank you. -- The Anome 07:07, 9 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
