English varieties

There is no preferred variant of English at Wikipedia. When editing articles, please do not change spellings from American English to British English (as you did with this edit) or vice versa. The only exception would be to make any given page consistent (i.e. if British English is prevalent on a page, but one or two words are spelled in the American variant, it is OK to change those).
