Information icon Hello, I'm TechyTommy. I noticed that you recently removed content from Ayla Karacabey without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. TechyTommy (talk) 21:53, 13 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, with Massachusetts Institute of Technology's academic sponsorship (24 months), I am the first scholar to uncover Ayla Karacabey's education, professional career based on my international archive based, in-depth, advanced scientific research. I do not know who has written this wikipedia article on Ayla Karacabey. I never want to give my published article by editor Anna Sokolina because they made lots of changes in my original article without asking me, and they also published my biography with incorrect information. I am too sad. This article does not reflect my scholarly perspective on Ayla Karacabey. Meral Ekincioglu2023 (talk) 21:58, 13 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, I also came here to say you have removed content without giving a reason. I have now seen your comment above. I think once your article has been published you cannot stop others referring to it. I have removed your details from the Wikipedia article, though, as they are not relevant to the subject. Hope that helps. Best wishes, Tacyarg (talk) 22:17, 13 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Adding that you can see the details of the editor who created the original article if you look at the history - if it's useful to you to talk to that person. You can also discuss specifics about the article on the article's Talk page. I will post a Welcome with some links about using Wikipedia. Tacyarg (talk) 22:21, 13 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I clearly expressed that reason. I am "the first" scholar to uncover education and professional career of Ayla Karacabey, MIT is my academic sponsor. (24 months). I removed that published my article because its editor changed my original essay in stead of my emails to her during her editing process. She did not listen, and did how she wanted. I never want to give my published article under her editorship for Ayla Karacabey. I am going to remove it. Who wrote this wikipedia article on Ayla Karacabey? Before my research at MIT, there was no article on Ayla Karacabey! Meral Ekincioglu2023 (talk) 00:37, 14 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, you can see who created the article in the article history. Tacyarg (talk) 09:14, 14 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Please don't remove sourced content or add unsourced information about yourself. You might find WP:SELFCITE useful. I have started a discussion on the article's Talk page for you and other editors to comment. Tacyarg (talk) 14:19, 14 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hi Meral Ekincioglu2023! I noticed that you have reverted to restore your preferred version of Ayla Karacabey several times. The impulse to undo an edit you disagree with is understandable, but I wanted to make sure you're aware that the edit warring policy disallows repeated reversions even if they are justifiable.

All editors are expected to discuss content disputes on article talk pages to try to reach consensus. If you are unable to agree at Talk:Ayla Karacabey, please use one of the dispute resolution options to seek input from others. Using this approach instead of reverting can help you avoid getting drawn into an edit war. Thank you. Tacyarg (talk) 14:30, 14 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Ayla Karacabey. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Reshadp (talk) 14:38, 14 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Ayla Karacabey. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. pburka (talk) 18:47, 14 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

with your "edit war" term, you blame someone who is the first scientist on Ayla Karacabey. Wikipedia is never a scientific knowledge resource, its editors are not scientific experts on Ayla Karacabey, you can not decide what you write on Ayla Karacabey without conducting a scientific research on her. I have let Massachusetts Institute of Technology know about what you have done so far. I also wrote on all my pages and social media platforms that no one should consider your Ayla Karacabey wikipedia entry. You are in your "authority war" against the first scientist who studied on Ayla Karacabey. I am going to talk with all my academic colleagues about your "authority war" and warn all my students not to use wikipedia, since it is not reliable. Meral Ekincioglu2023 (talk) 04:34, 15 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I have contacted MIT and my academic colleagues. All they said that wikipedia is not a reliable knowledge resources, they never recommend to use its articles as references. Meral Ekincioglu2023 (talk) 05:53, 17 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Information icon Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion involving you at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring regarding a possible violation of Wikipedia's policy on edit warring. The thread is Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring#User:Meral_Ekincioglu2023 reported by User:Tacyarg (Result: ). Thank you. Tacyarg (talk) 21:25, 14 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

You never consider about what I have been explaining, again and again. You only act with your own rules. You never ask what a scientist who has worked on this article subject for the first time and with academic sponsorship by Massachusetts Institute of Technology. You are not an expert on this article subject, I do not know who have written this article for your wikipedia and who has accepted, published this wikipedia article on this woman architect. As far as I understand, I should let Massachusetts Institute of Technology that was academic sponsor of my advanced, in-depth, archive-based academic research on Ayla Karacabey for 24 months. Wikipedia is not a scientific knowledge resource and not a scientific editorial board. You can not accept and publish any article, how you wish. Who decided your editorial principles I do not know. You are totally in editorial authority war, without considering a scientist working on Ayla Karacabey. I should contact scientific experts in the field. Who is the editor of this article? I am never sockpuppet! I am going to contact Massachusetts Institute of Technology about what you have done and let professors about your wikipedia article and how you have dictated only your rules. In addition, I am going to write on all my official pages that your wikipedia article on Ayla Karacabey should not take into consideration. Wikipedia is a not a scientific resources, you are not an scientific editorial board, you are not authority on Ayla Karacabey, you are not an expert on architecture history, etc. I had heard from lots of professors for why wikipedia is not reliable, and now, it became very clear why most of professors say that. We never recommend our students to use wikipedia. I am going to write on all my pages that wikipedia article on Ayla Karacabey should not be take into consideration, never.
