Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia

The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome! Red Paint People

[edit]

Sorry but I've removed your edit. 1. It was not properly sourced -- see WP:VERIFY and WP:CITE. There wasn't enough information to find the book and no page numbers. 2. It was in the wrong place, after the reference section. 3. I didn't see any evidence your sources discusses the Red Paint People, and that is the main problem. Sources must directly discuss the subject, see WP:NOR. Having said that, it's great to have an interested new editor, and I had the same problems when I started, so don't be discouraged. Editors often find Wikipedia quite different from their expectations. Dougweller (talk) 05:55, 9 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
