Other sign-ups at DC meeting[edit]

I recall several other sign-ups at the DC meeting, would it be appropriate to just add them to the listings?--Pharos (talk) 23:10, 25 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • Perhaps I'm misremembering, but I thought the issues described as the concern of the "U.S. Canada Education Program Scope and Philosophy" were within the "Structure" task force. There are also several task forces listed here that I believed we had combined into one (particularly related to outreach/communication), both because of similarity of subject matter, but also to prevent two groups working on nearly the same issues to come to conflicting results. • I have the same recollection about the merged task forces; I would suggest we go ahead and merge them here, per our DC discussions.--Pharos (talk) 16:56, 26 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Fine if we want to merge them, but I'm not bothered either way. As far as the communications groups go, the separate task force (with the same members) for communicating with the chapters serves as a reminder that they are an important constituency, so I think it would be OK to leave them as two -- it doesn't bother my OCD too much. (A friend recently commented to me: "I have CDO -- it's like OCD, but the letters are in alphabetical order -- AS THEY SHOULD BE".)
