Please do not interfere with the AfD process. This includes removing Article for Deletion notices and tampering with AfD votes. If you continue to do so you may be blocked. If you disagree with the proposed deletion of the Team PseudoFlux article, please discuss it on the article's articles for deletion page instead. Thanks, -- Alf melmac 11:35, 16 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

IP Address

[edit]

Please see Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents#Legal Threat. Also you should have posted it at Wikipedia:Requests for comment/User conduct not Wikipedia:Requests for comment/User names so you may want to move it to the correct place. CambridgeBayWeather (Talk) 22:05, 16 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You put it in the wrong place and so someone has reverted it here. If you look you will see a line near the top that says "Candidate pages - still need to meet the two person threshold" followed by "List newer entries on top". It should go just below that and it would look better if you signed in when you post it otherwise someone else is likely to put your IP address in. Please see our policy at Wikipedia:No legal threats. If you make another legal threat your account will be blocked.

If you do not log in before you edit, IP addresses are recorded automatically in the page history. (See here for example) You can avoid this by logging into your account before you edit.

Appending your IP address to your comments was not intended to violate your privacy, but it is a standard method of "signing" posts as a courtesy to other users. If you absolutely have a problem with this please "sign" them yourself by appending your user name. Again, all this can be avoided if you log in before you edit.

Once again, legal threats will not be tolerated. Please do not make any futher such threats. Gamaliel 23:24, 16 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It's done we both got carried away. I can't believe I went to that kind of length just to Wikipedia:Don't disrupt Wikipedia to illustrate a point. We probably both came close to getting blocked for disruption. Thanks. CambridgeBayWeather (Talk) 23:58, 16 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
