Welcome!

Hello MiscellaneousMarginalia! Thank you for your contributions to Rape and murder of Nirmala Panta, which have largely improved it. I noticed that you made stylistic changes to the date format as a part of your copyedit. I should note that, since this is a global community of individuals with greatly different tastes, we have some guidelines and policies against making solely stylistic changes, as well as some standards, in order to maintain consistency at least within articles if not the whole project. In this particular case, I would like to refer you to the guidelines at MOS:DATE, or an explanatory supplement to it, at WP:DATEOVER. The gist of it, is that we try and make an article's formatting consistent with the least amount of work, without forcing our personal preference to it. In the case of this article, the format was already established and largely consistent if not completely, so I request that you revert the changes, that you made to date formatting, which is actually a format labelled Unacceptable by the Manual of Style page linked above. Thank you, and Happy editing! Usedtobecool TALK  15:43, 17 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
