Re: Page Inconsistencies

[edit]

Well spotted! Turns out the text on the Air Supply article (They also created the song "We Built This City" in 1984, which Starship made famous.) was added by a vandal, who originally claimed that Jefferson Airplane took credit for the song, before changing his story to the Starship version. I've removed the assertion, so all is now well.

To answer your question about where those sorts of queries should go, your best bet is usually the article's talk page, where another editor will review your comment and take care of it if necessary. However, I'm always on-call, so feel free to knock me up if you have any other small queries about articles!

One quick thing: I noticed that you linked the articles using external link syntax. There's an easier way to link internally to articles, which is to use double square-braces; have a look at Wikipedia:Cheatsheet, which is an excellent primer on how to improve your editing skills. haz (talk) 18:51, 10 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, and one more thing: I'm not an admin! I'm just a member of the community who takes it all a little too seriously... haz (talk) 18:53, 10 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
