The article Ted Elliott Voice Over / Music Presenter has been proposed for deletion because under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners or ask at Wikipedia:Help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. --ZhongHan (Email) 13:48, 8 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Ted Elliott

[edit]

We only need one title, and given the prior existence of another Ted Elliott, Ted Elliott (voice over) is the appropriate format. You may wish to devote some time to finding and providing references and making sure that the article is in compliance with WP:BIO and the manual of style WP:MOS. References

[edit]

I've done some formatting and removed references that can't be used because they link to direct promotion, or because they provide negligible useful information about the subject. For inclusion in Wikipedia, references must be to encyclopedic content and should not be promotional. The best references are to books, newspapers or electronic equivalents. You haven't provided any references to back up the majority of the article; if there are any newspaper profiles (even better if they're available online), they would be ideal both for verifiability and for establishing notability. I've left the deletion tag up because 95% of the article is unreferenced - everything in the article should be derived from secondary sources that can be verified (print is OK, but you have to be very specific - dates, page numbers, etc). Primary sources, such as communications from the subject, can't be used in an encyclopedia. That may mean a great deal of trimming to stick with what can be referenced and verified. Ok Thanks for your time altering layout to correct format, I will get back to you after the weekend (if thats ok) ..... Matthew Jones TPB 19:03, 8 October 2010 (UTC)

As the template says, you have ten days to find sources, so that should be fine. Have a good weekend. Acroterion (talk) 19:12, 8 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
