Millennium Force

[edit]
  • Yes, but it only popularized cable lifts (smaller, older, European coasters included it). I understand that the commentary on the magnetic braking system does not matter (humbleness), but you can not claim such a first like that. It was only the first in America to use such a lift system, not on Earth. I will not undo this again until further notice, but please consider this. 96.234.7.149 (talk) 04:43, 9 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Tower of Terror (Gold Reef City)

[edit]
  • Good day Montu Man 1011. I realise that I made some changes to the page entitled Diving Machine on the 17th of June 2008 @ 22:42, claiming that the Tower of Terror was also a diving machine. I should have read the article before posting, and I realise how "out of place" that information was.
  • I am thinking of writing an article about the Tower of Terror (a work in progress) and would just like to clear a few things up before I start writing. I would just like to know, is it correct in saying that any vertical drop roller coaster can be referred to as a Diving Machine (provided that that vertical drop roller coaster carries all the characteristics of a typical Diving Machine), or are ONLY B&M vertical drop roller coasters referred to as Diving Machines? After all, the Tower of Terror, although it was designed by Ronald Bussink (Formerly Nauta Bussink) and manufactured and built by local companies, was based on Bolliger and Mabillard's Oblivion and Diving Machine: G5.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
