March 2020[edit]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did at Band (rock and pop), you may be blocked from editing. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. creffett (talk) 22:33, 13 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

February 2021[edit]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Lampe, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. — Newslinger talk 15:51, 13 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to blank out or remove portions of page content, templates, or other materials from Wikipedia without adequate explanation, as you did at Bajrang Dal, you may be blocked from editing. — Newslinger talk 15:52, 13 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor. — Newslinger talk 15:52, 13 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you remove or blank page content or templates from Wikipedia without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary, as you did at Bajrang Dal. — Newslinger talk 18:34, 13 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Bajrang Dal. — Newslinger talk 18:38, 13 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Militant[edit]

I just removed the militant word, okay. If you block me, I will destroy the entire Wikipedia system from India. Mr DipakSingh (talk) 18:49, 13 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

You can't remove it because it is verified by a dozen reliable sources. Wikipedia is written based on what the reliable sources say, not our personal opinions. If you continue to engage in pushing personal agendas, you will indeed be blocked. -- Kautilya3 (talk) 20:31, 13 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Also, idiotic childish threats such as the one you made above will not help you to avoid being blocked. On the contrary, it may add to the impression that you are not here to edit in a constructive and collaborative spirit, which if anything will make any administrator reviewing your case to be more likely to block you from editing. Welcome[edit]

Hello Mr DipakSingh and welcome to Wikipedia! We appreciate encyclopedic contributions, but some of your contributions, such as the ones to Bajrang Dal, do not conform to our policies. For more information on this, see Wikipedia's policies on vandalism and limits on acceptable additions. If you'd like to experiment with the wiki's syntax, please do so in the sandbox (but beware that the contents of the sandbox are deleted frequently) rather than in articles.

If you still have questions, there is a Help desk, or you can click here to ask for help on your talk page, and a volunteer should respond shortly. You may also find the following pages useful for a general introduction to Wikipedia.

I hope you enjoy editing and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Feel free to write a note on the bottom of my talk page if you want to get in touch with me. Again, welcome! — Newslinger talk 15:53, 13 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. JBW (talk) 21:39, 13 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
