You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you insert a spam link. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted, preventing anyone from linking to them from all Wikimedia sites as well as potentially being penalized by search engines. Request reason:
I was not intending to cause disruption, I think I was a little confused by the models another company had posted in the one article (these models are still there) and added other models in an effort of further contribution. The additional writing I added to the one article referenced multiple sites and was meant solely as a contribution as I thought the different methods of building would be a great contribution to the information. I also tried to fill in some references that were missing in an effort of further contribution to the pages, I intended to be helpful by referencing articles I thought were supportive of the information on the page. I certainly will not be adding spam intentionally, I do see where the pictures of models could be viewed as that and will not do that again. I only want to make helpful contributions and hope you will take that into consideration. Please let me know if there was anything else that I did wrong so that I can prevent making future mistakes.
Decline reason:
Please address the reason for your block, which is inappropriate spam links. You will need to explain in your own words how to appropriately insert external links and be able to identify reliable sources for citation purposes. --Deepfriedokra (talk) 21:36, 5 March 2022 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
Here is some advice relating to your unblock request. I hope you may find it helpful. Most of us, when we first start editing Wikipedia, know little or nothing about Wikipedia's policies and accepted practices, so many of us do things at first which are out of line with what is acceptable. I did so myself, and I don't blame anyone else for doing so. In your case, you have made one of the very commonest mistakes made by newcomers, which is thinking that using Wikipedia to publicise your business will be acceptable. As I have said, I don't blame you for that mistake. However, it is far from being the whole truth that you thought that "different methods of building would be a great contribution to the information". You may well have thought that, but it is perfectly clear that the main focus of your editing was to find opportunities to link to your company's website, with the purpose of attracting readers to that website. It is very unlikely that any administrator will unblock your account as long as it looks as though you are being less than frank about the nature of your past editing.
